there's something about knowing that everything's fine
and i thank you.

(and by you, i mean everyone who has
love and
happiness and
compassion and
understanding
in their hearts.)

there's something about praying everyday,
purely out of despair,
so god is compassionate
and let this being suffer no more
for hers is the happiness of the world
for hers is this land, hers are the birds
hers is the laughter of children
and she must cry no more
(i beg. oh, out of sheer despair
and if there is anyone there
wouldn't it be fair
to be fair?)
